1. General introduction of ABS Plastic Sheet

1). ABS plastic sheet is the most widely used engineering thermoplastic today, which is formed by the polymerisation of styrene and acrylonitrile on to thermoplastic rubber which is then melt compounded with styrene acrylonitrile.

2). ABS plastic sheets are available in two main grades, Engineering grade and Vacuum Forming Grade ABS sheet.

3). ABS plastic sheet has good formability, and a cosmetic appearance are desired. Its impact resistance, and haircell-textured surface also make it a good choice for applications where a structural cosmetic faceplate is desired.

4). ABS plastic sheets can be processed with ease and versatility. They can be machined, turned, drilled, milled, sawed, bored, die-cut, routed and sheared using high speed carbide-tipped tools. ABS plastic sheet can be machine finished by filing, grinding, sanding, buffing and polishing.
